Our Story

In the spring of 2023, Express Rental reopened under the new ownership of Kaitlin and Cody Meyers—bringing new energy to a business deeply rooted in family tradition.

Originally founded in 1991 by Kaitlin’s grandfather, Don Hager, Express Rental proudly served the Houghton Lake community for over 25 years. Don built his business on hard work, integrity, and a genuine commitment to helping others. After his passing in 2022, Kaitlin—who grew up visiting the store and worked there during summers—felt called to carry on his legacy. Together with her husband Cody, Kaitlin is honored to lead Express Rental into its next chapter.
